Finished up my design studio class for the term. All of my projects turned out well,but, to be honest I wasn't personally ecstatic about what I did, design wise. It is VERY hard to be original. I was thinking about this and came upon this web page, a bunch of quotes about design: http://inspire.boranikolic.com/ I'd like to agree about doing nothing but good design, but sometimes deadlines need to be met!

Coffee Labels

These are coffee labels I designed for my internship at Ocreations. The Champions Choice labels were done a few months back, but we just recently had a photo shoot with the newest products. The Medicine Shoppe label was made about three weeks back and will be on shelves very soon. Benefits of this project included lots of free coffee, can't complain!

In addition to the seal I did, I'm going to do some research on the Russian criminal tattoos. I found out about a 3 volume encyclopedia with practically every tattoo and the meaning behind them. Hoping this will give me some design inspiration. After spending these past 3 years working on design which has to be blatantly obvious to the viewer, I'd like to do something with a little more mystery to it. The books are a little pricy though.

Final project for portfolio prep. I decided to do a t-shirt design, and I'm guessing after recently visiting a Shepard Fairey exhibit, this was influenced by his work.
